History

We are an authentic Japanese style hot-spring inn located on a verdant foothill in the suburbs of Fujieda City, about 20 minutes by car from the city center of Shizuoka.

Founded in 1887, the inn has the distinctive character of an old-established inn, including its location nestled in the woods and its traditional two-story wooden structure.

The main house and detached guest house, built in late 1920s, are registered and protected as a Cultural Asset.
